Meet the Teacher

Mr. Hodur is in his 24th year of teaching vocal music. He received a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's in Education from Lesley University. As a former Coronado High School graduate, Mr. Hodur has spent the past 22 years teaching at Coronado. His choirs consistently receive superior ratings at festivals and competitions. His Show Choir has placed 1st at the state competition multiple times. His acapella group, the Coronado Bluenotes has also been selected as one of the state's premiere high school acapella groups. Numerous students from Coronado are accepted into the Colorado All-State Choir each year. When not teaching choral music at CHS, Mr. Hodur is a professional tenor in multiple community vocal ensembles, a music minister at his church, and the director of the Madrigal Singers at the Navigators and Glen Eyrie Castle.
