(The CHS Blue Notes are an acapella/jazz group comprised of the highest achieving musicians from the CHS choral program. They are an extra-curricular group and rehearse outside of the normal school schedule. The Blue Notes are self-sufficient musicians responsible for learning music on their own. They are also members of other advanced ensembles at the school, will audition for All-State Choir and other honor groups, and will compete in the Colorado High School Activities Association's state acapella/jazz competition.)
