Hello and Welcome to the Coronado Golf Website.  If you are interested in playing golf for Coronado this Fall (2026), the following information will help you.

IMPORTANT!  All paperwork (online registration, sport and physical) must be completed before you can practice on the first day, August 3, 2026.  This includes a current physical. There was a parent letter sent out to all incoming freshman as well as to all current Coronado students with athletic information for the Fall Sports Season. This letter and more information can be found on the Coronado Website under "Athletics".  

IF YOUR SON IS INTERESTED IN PLAYING GOLF THIS FALL, AND HE (OR YOU, THE PARENT) IS NOT ON THE GOLF EMAIL LIST, PLEASE EMAIL COACH RIENKS AT RIENKSRA@D11.ORG AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

There will be a golf meeting on July 31, 2026 for parents at 6pm and for players at 6:30pm at Coronado High School. Information about the upcoming season will be discussed at the meeting. If you cannot make the meeting, please email me at rienkra@d11.org. 

Practice will start at 3:30pm at Kissing Camels Golf Course on Monday, August 3, 2026. We are limited in the number of players that we can have at Kissing Camels at one time, so we will be utilizing other venues as well.  We will be finalizing those venues as the summer progresses. Schedules will be available as soon as they are completed.  

I will be sending emails out throughout the summer updating information on the season. If you have any questions, please email me.

2025 Tryout Information

Monday, Aug 11th & Tues, Aug 12th from 5:30pm - 8pm on the Coronado Turf Field 

Please bring your Paid Sports Fee Receipt, Blue Card, Cleats, Shin Guards, Soccer Socks and a Water Bottle to tryouts. 

 

The Regular Season Practices will be either at Coronado at 6pm (Varsity) or a combo of Holmes Middle School/Coronado, usually right after school (JV/C).

You must register on Arbiter Online in order for you to tryout - please clink on the link above for more information or contact Coach Rather or Coach Brown.  Deadline to register will be Friday, April 17th.  

If you were on the Cheer Team for the school year 2025-26, you do not need to register again but please make sure you have a current physical on your arbiter account.

Welcome to the 2026 Coronado Cross Country Program

Information on Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 Seasons

Coaches Lisa Rainsberger, Amanda Campos and TBD welcome you to the 2026 Cross Country Season.

The summer training program for the 2026 season will begin on June 1st.  We encourage all of you to begin training this summer for the Fall XC program. 

We offer coaching through the Kokopelli Racing Team Club program where head coach, Lisa Rainsberger was the founder.  Kokopelli is now owned and spearheaded by World Champion triathlete and Coach, Andy Potts.  Kokopelli offers in person training 3x week and a detailed training calendar and detailed weights training program.  We meet Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30am - 10am.

There is a fee for summer coaching, but scholarships are available.  We also provide a detailed Coronado XC training calendar to follow should your summer plans or jobs interfere with program times and dates.  The Coronado XC program will develop and offer in person training depending on the number of athletes who are interested 

Preseason for the Coronado Cross Country Team starts on Saturday, Aug 8th.  The official season starts on Monday, August 10th. 

If you are planning on participating this year, please create a www.TEAMAPP.com account.  This will be our communication tool and a required account for athletes and parents.

If you already have a TEAMAPP.com account, go into your account and make sure you have access to the Cross Country Runner or Cross Country Runner or Cross Country Parent access group.  For those of you who do not have an account, go to TEAMAPP.com and request membership with the Coronado Cougars Team.  Select the Cross Country or Cross Country Parent access group.  Parents and Athletes must create this account.  Fill out ALL the contact information and details.  Please include your email, emergency, contact information and phone numbers.  Please include your name and not just a nickname.  Once you have your account downloaded to your phone or you have created an account for your laptop, you can read all recent messages that have been sent.  

Cross Country Race and Practice Schedule:  Mark your calendars and try not to schedule plans that conflict!  We want everyone to experience many of these new races.   

The Cross Country Race Schedule is also posted on the Team App in the documents section.  Please print this schedule when it becomes available.  

The mandatory  parent and athlete team meeting is on Wed, August 12th at 6pm in the Coronado Main Gym.
