Golf meeting on August 1st 2025

First Practice on August 4th 2025

Hello and Welcome to the Coronado Golf Website.  If you are interested in playing golf for Coronado this Fall (2025), the following information will help you.

IMPORTANT!  All paperwork (online registration, sport and physical) must be completed before you can practice on the first day, August 4, 2025.  This includes a current physical. There was a parent letter sent out to all incoming freshman as well as to all current Coronado students with athletic information for the Fall Sports Season. This letter and more information can be found on the Coronado Website under "Athletics".  

IF YOUR SON IS INTERESTED IN PLAYING GOLF THIS FALL, AND HE (OR YOU, THE PARENT) IS NOT ON THE GOLF EMAIL LIST, PLEASE EMAIL COACH RIENKS AT RIENKSRA@D11.ORG AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

There will be a golf meeting on August 1, 2025 for parents at 6pm and for players at 6:30pm at Coronado High School. Information about the upcoming season will be discussed at the meeting. If you cannot make the meeting, please email me at rienkra@d11.org. 

Practice will start at 3:30pm at Kissing Camels Golf Course on Monday, August 5, 2025. We are limited in the number of players that we can have at Kissing Camels at one time, so we will be utilizing other venues as well.  We will be finalizing those venues as the summer progresses. Schedules will be available as soon as they are completed.  

I will be sending emails out throughout the summer updating information on the season. If you have any questions, please email me.

2025 Tryout Information

Monday, Aug 11th & Tues, Aug 12th from 5:30pm - 8pm on the Coronado Turf Field 

Please bring your Paid Sports Fee Receipt, Blue Card, Cleats, Shin Guards, Soccer Socks and a Water Bottle to tryouts. 

The Regular Season Practices will be either at Coronado at 6pm (Varsity) or a combo of Holmes Middle School/Coronado, usually right after school (JV/C).

Every athlete has a place in our program and we are excited to welcome back our returners or welcome you for the first time if you are new to the Coronado Cougar soccer family.

Summer "drop in" practices will be on most Monday and Thursday Evenings starting in June from 6-7:30 pm. 

Tryout Information

Tryouts - August 11th at 3:30pm. Your paperwork, sports fee payment a current physical need to be done before you are allowed to tryout. 

Please bring the following on the 1st day of tryouts - water bottle, tennis racket, good tennis court shoes and sport clothing.  We have extra rackets if you do not have one yet.

Fall Season Practices are from 3:30pm - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday on the Coronado Tennis Courts.

Welcome to the 2025 Coronado Cross Country Program

Summer 2025/26 Schedule 

Coaches Lisa Rainsberger, Andy Potts and Staci Christenson welcome you to the 2025 Cross Country Season.

The summer training program is under way, and we encourage all of you to begin training this summer for the Fall XC program. 

We offer coaching through the Kokopelli Racing Team Club program where head coach, Lisa Rainsberger, and Assistant Coach,  Andy Potts, offer in person training 3x week and a detailed training calendar and detailed weights training program.  We meet Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30am - 10am.

There is a fee for summer coaching, but scholarships are available.  WE also provide a detailed training calendar to follow should your summer plans or jobs interfere with program times and dates.  

Preseason for the Coronado Cross Country Team starts on Monday, July 29th.  

If you are planning on participating this year, please create a www.STACKTEAMAPP.com account.  This will be our communication tool and a required account for athletes and parents.

If you already have a STACKTEAMAPP.com account from the Track and Field season, go into your account and make sure you have access to the Cross Country Runner or Cross Country Parent access group.  For those of you who do not have an account, go to STACKTEAMAPP.com and request membership with the Coronado Cougars Team.  Select the Cross Country or Cross Country Parent access group.  Parents and Athletes must create this account.  Fill out ALL the contact information and details.  Please include your email, emergency, contact information and phone numbers.  Please include your name and not just a nickname.  Once you have your account downloaded to your phone or you have created an account for your laptop, you can read all recent messages that have been sent.  

Cross Country Race and Practice Schedule:  Mark your calendars and try not to schedule plans that conflict!  We want everyone to experience many of these new races.  The August training calendar is posted in the Team App documents section.  Click on the August Training Schedule and it will show you where and when to meet.  Please print this calendar.

The mandatory  parent and athlete team meeting is on Wed, August 14th at 6pm in the Coronado Main Gym.
