Registration for AP Exams:
Students taking AP exams will register online this year. Students will be able to begin registering at this website: https://user.TotalRegistration.net/AP/060273 starting on January 23, 2017.
Students taking AP exams at Coronado High School must register for exams by 12:01 am Thursday, February 23, 2017. For the 2016 AP Exams, the cost of each AP exam is being covered by School District 11 if ordered by this deadline. Registrations NOT received by 12:01 am Thursday, February 23, 2017 will be paid by School District 11 - however the student will be responsible for late fees. Late fees are $15.00 for each exam order late. Please see Mrs, Schulzki prior to paying for these late fees.
IF a student is registered for an AP exam(s) it is the responsibility of the student to check if there are conflicts with school events or state qualification dates. If a conflict exists, students must contact Mrs. Schulzki as soon as possible to arrange for an alternate AP exam. An alternative exam will be ordered and the cost of each AP exam will be covered by School District 11 depending on the conflict.
Students who order an exam and then cancel the exam prior to May 1, 2017 will be charged a $15 return fee. Students who do not show up for an AP exam or cancels an exam AFTER May 1, 2017 will be charged a $30 return fee. If a student has an emergency illness on the day of an AP exam the student must contact Mrs. Schulzki as soon as possible at 328-3631 or email@example.com. If the student wishes to arrange for an alternate exam due to illness a doctor's note or other official notification may be required.
Ensuring Accommodations on College Board Exams
The College Board is committed to making sure that students with disabilities can take the Advanced Placement® Exams with the accommodations they need. All reasonable requests are considered.
It is important that if a student is requesting accommodations on an AP exam the request MUST be sent to the College Board by February 17, 2017. Using accommodations not approved by the College Board results in cancellation of scores. No one is automatically approved. All requests are sent to the College Board and NOT to Coronado High School.
